Growing up my favorite food was mashed potatoes and gravy. I still love it, but I don't fix it all that often because it seems like I never have the time.

Your book looks delightful.

I just happen to like really sour things to eat even as a little kid. My Great Aunt Mildred made a Lemon Sour Cake that would make your lips pucker just looking at it! As a child I adored it. Thanks for the terrfic giveaway. Merry Christmas.

My grandmothers chicken and dumplings. None compare to hers and she taught me how to make them before she died. Now, my boys love them as much as I do!!!

My mom's dressing. Not stuffing! Nothing like homemade dressing.
I've enjoyed reading your blog.

It was called Roman Supper and it was basically layered spaghetti, meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese and parmesan. Delicious!

Growing up my favorite dish was fresh baked bread. I loved the smell in the house and getting it hot out of the oven.

Sounds like a wonderful book. My favorite childhood meal was Lasagns. It was the one dish I always requested for my birthday and never got tired of. Thanks for the contest.
